Fossil is Set to Launch New Smartwatches in 2016

Want to look smarter? Wear a smartwatch!

The ever famous watch brand “Fossil” has wowed the world with its wide range of watch collections. It has now come with new smart watches of its own. Earlier in October, the company released a smartwatch “Q Founder” but it was not up to the expectation of users. So, they have come up with new high tech watches in its Q-collection. In the press release, they have announced the release of 2 Fossil Android Wear Smartwatches, a Q Motion Activity Tracker and 4 Smart Analog Watches. The 2 new smartwatches from Fossil are Q Marshal and Q Wander.

Fossil’s Q Wander and Q Marshal

The diameter of Fossil’s Q Wander and Q Marshal is 44mm and 46mm respectively. The Q Wander is sleek, slim and comes with a leather strap (which could be interchanged with any other straps). There is touch screen display and voice control facility. This watch comes with wireless charging technology too. The Q Marshal has a rugged and vintage look with a bigger diameter of 46mm.

Both smartwatches come with touchscreen display and Android Wear Operating System. With this, Android users can view text messages and calls on their wrists. But unlike other smartwatches from Apple or Samsung, the Fossil smartwatches do not have heart rate sensors. The wireless charging is a very good feature and the size of the charger is slim which makes it comfortable for the user to carry.

The release date of Fossil Q Wander and Q Marshal Smartwatches is not announced but it is expected to hit the markets by end of this year. The price of these watches is assumed to be $275 or above.

Fossil Q Motion

Q Motion from Fossil is an affordable product that takes technology to next level. The last activity tracker released by Fossil helped you with notifying your calls or messages and also tracked your activity. In the Q Motion version which is going to be released in fall 2016, you will also experience a Smart tap technology. With this technology, you can simply tap to play your favourite music or take a selfie. In addition, there are colour LED lights and there is no need for frequent charging. The coin cell battery of the Fossil Q Motion needs no charge for 6 months.

The new Fossil Smart Analog Watches can notify you for calls as well as messages. They also update when you are moving between different time zones and can also track your activities. Thus, these new watches possess a good sense of fashion and also the technology.
