Feeling frazzled? You have 100 emails to reply in your inbox, and the next meeting will start in exactly 5 minutes. Instead of procrastinating and feeling more stressed, try these simple tips to relax and rejuvenate your senses in next 5 minutes. Don’t worry; we all have been to that situation one or the other time. Stop slouching and feeling stressed. Bad posture will ultimately increase feelings of depression, zap your energy and cut off your circulation. We don’t want that situation. And long working hours are making it difficult for you to avoid these things. But, trust me, when you are done with improving your posture gradually over time, your body will thank you for it.
1. Stop Leaning Backward or Forward-
No! Don’t lean forward or backward else your spine would feel as if it is carrying an extra 10 pounds. Who wants that? Which is the perfect posture? Use this trick-Your ears should be in line with your shoulders.
2. Uncross Your Legs-
It’s hard and you keep doing that all the time, don’t you? But learn avoiding it gradually from now onwards. Crossing your legs while sitting is not bad for a shorter period of time but of course, for longer period of time. This way you will avoid chronic pain.
33. Move Often-
Take a quick walk to gather your thoughts. Else you might get abdominal pain and thin bones and a lot more. Why not incorporate mini-walks by getting up every hour or so? Integrate motion in your work routine to improve work efficiency and concentration.
4. Use a Supporting Chair-
Keep your back comfortable and supported with a small curve in the lumbar spine.
5. Keep Required Items Within Your Reach-
Don’t reach out to grab things like mouse, phone or bottle. Keep such items within a foot. This is easy for you and good for your body.
Make sure you are doing all you can to be in a good posture.
