Tim Peake Captured Stunning Photograph of Edinburgh from Space Station


Astronaut Tim Peake often shares pictures of Earth from International Space Station (ISS). He has shared a photo of Edinburgh from the International Space Station on April 25, 2016. The image shared immediately went viral on social media. He tweeted saying, “The great city of Edinburgh catching some good weather today.”

Tim Peake has tweeted photos for Edinburgh in the past. Tim Peake is first British-born spaceman who went for ISS.
                         

The people of Scotland said that the weather was rather cold. People could easily pinpoint the famous places visible. Arthur Seat is visible on the right hand side of the image. You can also see Fourth Bridge along with Forth Road Bridge. The new Queensferry Crossing is clearly visible and eagle-eyed viewers can catch a glimpse of Hibernian’s Easter Road stadium to the north of Arthur’s seat.

The spaceman is currently on his six-month tour as a crewman in ISS. Peake is the first British born astronaut on the ISS and has shared pictures of Scotland in the past as well.
